This site uses small, first-party analytics to understand visits and music listening. There are no advertising trackers or third-party analytics services.

What is recorded

Visit and playback events, the song involved, approximate listening milestones, streaming-link clicks, reveal-slider use, event times, mobile or desktop category, and referring hostname or campaign source. Referral paths and query strings are not recorded. These are approximate measurements, not a record of individual people.

A random session identifier is stored in this browser tab’s session storage and renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. It is not a permanent visitor profile. Playback milestones count accumulated playback, not simply the playhead position; muted playback can count too.

Storage and access

Analytics are stored on this site’s hosting server in a private database. Only the password-protected dashboard exposes reports. Analytics events do not contain names, email addresses or raw IP addresses. The server uses temporary keyed network identifiers for abuse prevention. The hosting provider may separately maintain ordinary access logs.

The dashboard uses a secure session cookie for authentication. An optional exclusion preference uses a secure, first-party cookie (up to one year) and local storage until you change it or clear browser data. It prevents analytics collection in this browser, including on the server; it does not require a saved home IP address or network range. Enable it separately in each browser and device. Analytics history is retained for comparing the site's performance over time.
